Chili Day Success!!

We had a great turn out Saturday. The boys were glad they were invited, we didn't have any chili left over, nor any cornbread! Good job boys!! Of course I forgot my camera but I did take pics with Terri's! They will be posted soon so keep checking back.
We had a white chili, spicy chili, vegetarian chili, and 2 mild chili's
Thanks to all for attending! Everybody had a great time, it so nice to have such great friends and association. like the Watchtower says for today Widen out so we hope to have a bigger turn out next time!

Next Lunch Date 1/23/10

Hello Sisters!! Are you ready to get creative!! The next theme is CHILI!! I know we dont want to have 25 different chilis at the lunch, but we can get creative on what we can have with it!! Maybe a couple of sisters could make their favorite chili recipe then the rest of us can bring something to go with it or maybe a favorite beverage? I'm not sure let me know what you think! If it is hot and we need to change the menu I will let everyone know!!

Today was great!!






Well I hope everyone had fun!! We had a great turn out with people and food. We didn't get to really talk to much about the way this is going to work but at lest we were able to get together and enjoy great food and each other. Thanks everybody for your contributions. We had black bean soup with rice, Cuban Sheppard's pie, Cuban sloppy Joe with sweet bread, Yucca (?) which my first time trying it, it was very good!! sweet potato casserole, fried chicken, brownies and ossorio pastries!! Here are come pics of the day, and also our next luncheon is going to be at Terri Smiths house! She is going to let us know the date and theme!! Hope all can attend Enjoy the pics

Launch Fuddle!!


Well we have come up with a launch date. It will be a fuddle. LOL (fuddle being a better word for pot-luck)! The first get together will be Tuesday December 22nd at Michelle's house. The theme is Cuban, I am making a cuban sheppard's pie :) with cuban fruit ponche! Yummo. We will be discussing how this is going to work and making plans for the rotation of hosts. We hope all will be able to attend so we can enjoy fellowsip and getting to know each other better.
We will be out in service in the am, meeting at the psj hall if anybody would like to come and work with us.
